Shane FitzHenry
President
Shane FitzHenry joined the Ferguson Veresh team in October of 2008 and has risen to the position of President. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Shane became President of Ferguson Veresh in January 2022.
Stephen Biddy
Vice-President
Stephen joined the Ferguson Veresh team in June 2022 as Vice-President. He has been in the mechanical engineering and mechanical contracting business ever since he graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas and specializes in plumbing and HVAC design and project management.
Ryan Castelli
Vice-President
Ryan joined the Ferguson Veresh team in October 2018. He has been in the HVAC industry ever since he graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas and has a Master of Business Administration from Midwestern State University. He specializes in HVAC design, estimating, project management, and general business development.
Landon Veitenheimer
Vice-President
Landon joined the Ferguson Veresh team in June 2022. He worked in the oil and gas industry for several years before moving to the mechanical and plumbing contracting industry. He has been a fire sprinkler designer and project manager since May 2017. Landon is a licensed RME-G NICET III Fire Sprinkler Designer in the state of Texas and leads the Fire Sprinkler Department.
Darren Kirkpatrick
HVAC Service Manager
Our Service Manager, Darren Kirkpatrick, began his career at Ferguson Veresh in 1985. His first position was as a service technician’s helper. During his early years with the company, Darren also worked in the parts department, handled accounts receivable, and as the service dispatcher learning all the various aspects of the service side of the business. In 1987, Darren became a fully qualified service technician. In 1995 he was promoted to his current position as Service Manager.
Wayne Hodges
HVAC Installation Manager
Wayne Hodges has more than 40 years of HVAC industry experience and is licensed in Texas for HVAC work. He began his career in 1983 as a sheet metal helper with Stewart Environmental Air Systems. By 1987, he advanced to a field sheet metal mechanic, contributing to a variety of commercial projects throughout the Wichita Falls area. From 2009-2019, Wayne served as Shop Foreman for Stewart Environmental, overseeing operations and supporting the company’s field teams. In 2019, he transitioned to SNB Mechanical, where he worked as an Area Project Manager. Wayne joined Ferguson-Veresh, Inc. in 2022 and currently serves as the HVAC Department Supervisor. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous notable construction projects across Wichita Falls and the surrounding area, including Bridwell Tower, MPEC, Ft Sill, Sheppard AFB, Altus AFB, and multiple area schools.
Todd Lane
Comfort Consultant
Sales Representative Todd Lane joined Ferguson Veresh in the spring of 2011. After spending 15 years at S&J Electric in Fort Worth running the Highway Division, Todd moved back to Wichita Falls where he was born and raised. His enthusiasm and construction background make him a wonderful fit for Ferguson Veresh. Todd specializes in residential and light commercial sales.
John Ferguson
Cofounder. Retired January 2022
John began working in the HVAC installation, service, and construction industry at the age of 13. John learned early the skills of sheet metal installer, parts operator, service dispatcher, warehouse inventory control and HVAC repair. John teamed up with Mike Veresh to form Ferguson-Veresh in 1975. From the beginning, John was responsible for HVAC designs, sales and installation, project manager for larger jobs, crew scheduling, human resources, commercial estimating and safety coordinator. As the business grew, his responsibilities focused on HVAC sales and installation. Through John’s leadership, the business is now a household name in the Wichita Falls area with a reputation for good, honest work. John retired in January 2022.
Mike Veresh
Cofounder. Retired January 2020
Mike is a native of Detroit, Michigan brought to Wichita Falls by the United States Air Force. Mike served at Sheppard Air Force Base from 1968 to 1972. Following his tenure with the Air Force, Mike remained in Wichita Falls and got into the HVAC business while working at Paul Scheuer Engineering. After a few years, there Mike teamed up with John Ferguson to form Ferguson-Veresh in 1975. Mike is well-versed in the HVAC industry and served as the HVAC service department lead in addition to managing the finances and some large commercial jobs. As the business grew, his responsibilities focused on the HVAC service and business management. Through Mike’s leadership, the business is now a household name in the Wichita Falls area with a reputation for good, honest work. Mike retired in January 2020.
Chris Reese
Responsible Master Plumber
Christopher Reese has more than 17 years of experience in the plumbing industry and is a licensed Master Plumber in Texas and Oklahoma. He began his career in 2008 as an apprentice with Autumn Air and advanced to lead plumbing foreman at Harper Mechanical in 2011. In 2013, Chris joined SNB Mechanical as an Area Plumbing Project Manager, during which time he earned his Master Plumber license and became their Responsible Master Plumber. He became a Plumbing Superintendent at Ferguson-Veresh in 2022, overseeing a wide range of commercial projects, and has served as the company’s Responsible Master Plumber since October 2025. Throughout his career, Chris has contributed to numerous notable commercial projects, including work for TxDOT, United Regional, Hospice, Ft Sill, Sheppard AFB, Altus AFB, and multiple area schools.
